I enjoyed the overall interview process at Guidewire, and they informed me that I was the second candidate to be interviewed in this new format. Initially, I received a message from a recruiter inviting me to interview for the position. Later, I had a technical interview on Zoom with the hiring manager, which focused on my background, experience, and suitability for the role. The interview also included Leetcode questions. Subsequently, they invited me for an entire day of onsite interviews. After the regular stand-up and introductions, they explained that I would have two pair programming sessions with two of their engineers - one in the morning focused on cloud infrastructure, and the other in the afternoon focused on microservices and development. The interviewers selected stories from their Jira board and worked with me while asking questions and guiding me through the pair programming sessions. I successfully completed both sessions, and the interviewers were very approachable and receptive to my ideas throughout the process. Finally, I had a behavioral interview with the director. The overall interview process was interesting as it focused on what they were currently working on, rather than following a routine interview format.
