I recently got referred to Guidewire Software & was asked to come down to their office for an interview. I was told the entire process would take 2-3 hours same day. However, the reality was far from this. The process dragged on for the entire day, and to make matters worse, HR was completely unaware of how many rounds were actually planned or even properly scheduled.
After few days, the HR had a brief call and rather dismissive salary discussion where I was essentially told, "This is our budget, and we can't cross it." Later, I was asked to attend yet another short virtual round, which was described as a managerial discussion, but ended up being a more than an hour technical grilling session.
HR failed to show basic courtesy by keeping me updated on feedback. The experience was highly unprofessional, and I sensed micro-management from the start, which left a bad impression. Interviews are meant to be a two-way evaluation, but here it felt entirely one-sided.
On top of that, the salary offered was significantly lower than current market standards, making the entire ordeal a complete waste of time. I strongly advise others to insist on virtual interviews if dealing with this company. Please note that this is how they treat senior level candidate, Imagine how they would treat their employees. Taking a day off for such an unorganized and disrespectful experience is simply not worth it.

1 st round codelity challenge 90 mins
2 nd round behavior round with pair programming .
The hiring manager was very rude . No time to answer any question. One hour interview cut short to 40 mins. Manager took 15 mins to introduce himself . Had no patience to listen to our experience . Any question there was no time to answer . The manager hurried me in answering everything. He was not at all interested in me you can get the feeling after couple of questions .
Later there was coding test with 2 tasks
When i started task 2 he asked me to do task 1 . Then when gave a sloution he was not intrested in that aswell he cut short the interview
