Perhaps the most thorough interview process I've ever undertaken. It took about eight weeks: - Screener with the recruiter - Interview with the hiring manager. - Following that, I was asked to complete a lengthy take-home assignment. - The process stalled here, and the recruiter encouraged me to avoid taking another position as feedback had been positive. - Three more interviews with various Gusto employees to ascertain team fit, alignment on core values, etc None of the people who interviewed me seemed to have any real desire to connect with me beyond the questions they were reading off of their screen, and the process at times felt robotic and impersonal. I did not get a good sense of the culture through these calls. The recruiter was thorough, friendly, and informative throughout the process. I was sent material to review beforehand, which was helpful.
