By sheer chance, the Hiring Manager (my official boss) and his manager were unavailable so the only person who interviewed me was the supervisor who I would be working for. BTW: He is an unbelievably knowledgeable programmer with years of experience.

Seeing me, and asking me one question about C, the Hiring Supervisor said: "Oh, you know this stuff" and hired me right away.
