I got a call from HCL Technologies for Python Developer openings. The interview process had 3 rounds, two technical and 1 HR round. My interview was scheduled at 11:30 AM and reached there little earlier. After that i waited for 30 min. for interview round. I was said that it will be 1:1 round but it was a telephonic round. The HR called to technical guy from office phone and asked to take interview. It was so awkward, first time i had ever attend any telephonic interview in employer office. This round went for apporx 30 min. After getting over of this round HR said that i have been selected for the next round and asked me to go for lunch. After lunch they conducted 2nd round. Again this was telephonic round it was so awkward. The interviewer was crazy she was shooting questions one after another without waiting for my reply and after every answer she was trying to show that i know noting and she is the only person know everything in Python. I felt like she is driving car and taking interview. Vehicle horn and traffic rush was clearly audible in my side. It was so disgusting and i was feeling petty for HCL, how they can conduct interview in such a way. After she got bored by asking question for 40 min, she updated feedback to HR and HR asked me to leave for the day, but before leaving, i suggested to HR to change the panel. On this he said, that lady is very senior and she was busy. On this i replied him, if she is busy then i too have lots of work and no one came here to beg you for the job. He said, i will forward your resume to one more panel and once again they will take your interview. I replied, if this is how you conduct interview and if this is how your panel is then thanks, i am no more interested in working with HCL. Note: I already have few good offers in my hand and also i have good knowledge on Python.
