HOLT Group interview questions

There were two men from administrative office that met with me at the Holt Cat company and questioned me about past working experience. They asked about my job at Tyler Police Department which included processing all police reports within time frame, answer phone, assist officers, data entry of reports, update excel program daily, scan or fax reports, process open record requests and mail, file, copy reports. And Farmers Insurance job included great and assist customers, take payments, assist agent, phone, data entry, fax or scan policy paperwork, email or call customers, file, copy documents, process mail. They explained my job would be to greet and assist customers, take payments and balance daily, data entry from documents, email, scan, or fax documents, order office supplies and complete excel reports for inventory on novelty items and order novelty items.

The paper test was pretty basic. I think I scored mid-range on it. The can test was awesome! They give you a diagram of an object they custom made for the interview. This object is in pieces in a box. You get a set time to study the diagram (I think 1 min), and then they time you to see how fast you can put it together. Then you do it one more time so they can see how much you retain by the change in time needed. It was very interesting and I enjoyed it a lot! I scored well on the can test, so that landed me an interview immediately after. The interview was in the mechanic shop break room in front of the Shop Supervisor and I'm assuming the Floor Supervisor. Both men were very nice to talk to and patient.
