I applied online and, about a month later, was asked via email to do a phone screening interview. HR was good about communicating prior to the interview, and they were good about answering any questions I had. The phone screen itself was fine. It was supposed to last about half an hour, but it ended up being all of ten minutes. The interviewer was a typical Santa Monica start-up dude bro, so the conversation was pretty chill. He made it clear that it was a company for young people, and that it was a fun place to work. My only complaint that it was hard to understand what the role actually entailed, since a lot of the emphasis of the phone screen was on the workplace vibe. About a month and a half later, I got an email saying that I didn't get the position.
