The panel was generally quite kind. The role was ill-defined, with no job description (yes, really), no clear goals and significant disagreement among the panel about the role's purpose and function. This was a premature search.
The CIO came in fifteen minutes late and blamed his staff for his confusion. He was abrupt, condescending and interrupted my responses before I could complete each of my first sentences. He stood up and walked out before the interview was over and I should have done the same. Later that day he emailed the CIO at my current employer to tell her I had interviewed.
This was the least professional leadership I've ever been exposed to. A disservice to their students.
