      Interview

Behavioral interviewing is a relatively new mode of job interviewing. Employers such as AT&T and Accenture (the former Andersen Consulting) have been using behavioral interviewing for about 15 years now, and because increasing numbers of employers are using behavior-based methods to screen job candidates, understanding how to excel in this interview environment is becoming a crucial job-hunting skill.

      Customer Service Representative Interview

      Nov 4, 2015
      Anonymous employee
      Lafayette, LA
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Hancock Whitney Bank (Lafayette, LA) in Oct 2011

      Interview

The interview was not difficult as I was already temping there and was hired on from the temp agency. I worked my typical three month contract and at the end was asked if I would like to stay on permanently. I submitted to a criminal back ground check, credit check, and drug screen, all typical pre screenings when being hired in by a bank. The HR department was friendly and proficient. And the hiring process ran smoothly...(No jumping through hoops/ No ridiculous line of trick questioning)

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

I met with the branch manager when the temp agency sent me there. She was professional yet friendly and warm and put me at ease. Questions were straight forward. Have you ever worked in an office environment? Are you able to work well in a fast paced environment under pressure? Etc. Again, very straight forward and no trick questions.
