Dropped off application, received phone call to set up interview time and date. Manager was very nice. Whole interview took one hour from start to finish. Was given six pages of questions to read out loud and answer.

Question 1
Was asked "what's your favorite store to shop at?", "what's your least favorite store to shop at?". I was asked a few other common questions which was easy. I was then given a list of questions to read out loud and then answer. Scenario questions like "give me an example of a time when an employee did this or that and what did you do?" This went on for SIX PAGES of questions!!!!! Seriously?? SIX PAGES?? After 3 or 4 pages, I didn't even know what the heck I was saying anymore and felt like a blabbering iodiot!! No wonder I didn't get a call back!
What a mess! After the initial email I got requesting an interview, I had to follow up twice to get it scheduled. They ended up calling me at 4:30pm, asking if I could interview the next day at 9:30am. When I logged on the following morning, the person I was interviewing with wasn’t sure if I would actually be there because apparently HR hadn’t confirmed it with the team.
The interview itself went well - everyone was very nice. However, immediately after the interview I received several calls and emails from two different people in HR asking why I didn’t make it to the interview. When I told them I had, they were very confused. Needless to say I followed up twice after the interview and never got a response. Woof.

my interviews were very typical. First a phone interview with HR, then an in person with the store manager, then a final phone interview with the regional manager. The final decision took a long time due to the background check.
