I was working as a Temporary Supervisor for a different department. A few days after submitting my application, I was called into a conference room without any warning in the middle of the workday.

They didn't really ask me much of anything. They read some of my resume out loud, made a few positive comments, then the HR rep told me I wasn't going to get the job, without consulting with the head of the department at all.
