The interview process is one of the speediest and most enjoyable experiences I've ever had. I was asked to do a phone screening, a writing prompt, and finally, an on-site interview. The interview was with four separate people, and I felt at ease and comfortable with the unscripted but thoughtful questions they asked. I know they got a good picture of me as a professional, and of what I could bring to the team. I was actually kind of sad when it was all over. After the interviewing was complete, I was told it would be a few days before they made a decision. A week went by and I emailed to follow up, as I hadn't heard anything. I received an email back the next day informing me I had not been selected for the position because they had a candidate who had more of the tone they wanted. I have to admit, it hit me kind of hard because I really, really wanted to work there based on how I was treated during the screening and interview process, as well as the feedback I received on my written prompt. I felt super confident, but sometimes, you still get edged out even when you nail it. Nevertheless, I appreciate the opportunity they gave me and for making me feel like an actual person in my interview, instead of just another job candidate. I would totally recommend anyone who is qualified for any of their positions to apply. They're a good group.
