The process starts with an email from the applicant tracking system that they use which outlines the process- Coding Challenge, Technical Phone Screen, Onsite. The coding challenge is very easy. The technical phone screen is system design over the phone. Onsite has 5 rounds 1. Algorithms and Data Structures (Easy) 2. Code review (Easy) 3. System Design (Easy) 4. Behavioral with the Product Team 5. Behavioral with Engineering Manager Software engineers who interviewed me for the first 3 rounds were excited about my experience, skills, and performance in the interview. The product team seems kind of sketchy. They don't seem motivated and dedicated. One of them was hitting on the other during the interview no cap. One of them also cut me off 2-3 times while I was speaking. One of the interviewers asked me to connect with them on LinkedIn. Guess what they didn't accept the connection request. No feedback after requesting one. Tip: Say that you love documenting, documenting, and interacting with the product team to get an offer NOTE: Although Happy Returns is acquired by PayPal, they are still decoupled. PayPal is only enforcing engineering principles. Also, PayPal could stop funding Happy Returns anytime. So, if you have multiple offers make sure you make a wise decision
