First, a recruiter reaches out to you then sends you a hacker rank assessment which wasn't too bad. Second round is a 30 min call HR screening which is pretty basic. Then the third round is a technical interview with one of the leadership. For some reason, this interview got scheduled with a manager who won't be overseeing the person with this position at all. His attitude towards the interviewee did not leave a great impression - he was very uninterested in the candidate, didn't want to be there, and the whole process was very rushed. I felt like I was talking to a soulless robot. What raised the red flag for me was that he didn't even care or bothered to know more about the candidate's background, instead he just went straight to asking generic technical questions which only lasted about 10 minutes at most and spent rest of the 30 minute interview to discuss about questions I prepared which was a bizarre thing to do in a technical interview. Would've been helpful if he can at least answer all of the questions I had prepared but even that wasn't the case because he hasn't been at Happy Returns for that long to provide the answers for my questions. The "core values" they describe at their website did not match with this person's attitude and behavior at all and I was so turned off by this interview experience. After such negative experience I was so disappointed that I was ready to eject the application and move on with different organization I was in contact with. Glad I dodged this bullet.
