I applied online. It took at least 4-5 weeks to get an automated message asking me to take a Hacker Rank quiz. The quiz consisted of 3 questions that covered logic, math, and [can't remember the last one]. 2-3 weeks later I got a notice to provide availability to interview with the hiring manager. The hiring manager was more than 5 minutes late and nobody coordinated an advanced notice. The interviewer asked a little about my past experience and suddenly decided to do a product exercise around Netflix and live TV, but provided little in terms of clarification or justified assumptions. For example: the hiring manager said the NFL is exclusive with Amazon (which it is not), so I couldn't use it for the exercise. But then the interviewer suggested the Olympics instead, which NBC/Universal has exclusive rights with for broadcasting and streaming. I questioned the interviewer about the assumptions for the purpose of the exercise and the interviewer became flustered. After the interview, I dug through the automated emails from Happy Returns to find what I assumed is the recruiter's contact information (whom I had never spoken to), and I sent an email asking to withdraw my candidacy. Overall, the interview process was extremely poor. There was no communication from a recruiter, the interviewer clearly did not plan for how they wanted to conduct an interview, and there was no communication on what the entire interview process looked like.
