30 min recruiter phone screen. 1 hour HM screen. 3 hour technical HackerRank challenge, then 4 or 5 hours of onsite. the 3 hour tech screen had 2 hrs of system design and 1 hour of coding. Most interviewers look exhausted or got that thousand yard stare. They have been through a lot recently and I don't blame them, but that's going to be a hint the kind of chaos and pushed-to-the-limit environment they are in. There are two main issues with their recruiting process. 1) The ridiculous 3 hours HackerRank challenge. That is simply unheard of, and it's ridiculous to do system design within 2 hours with no feedback, because you have no one to talk to. That's just now how that works. I did my best and got through that round but it was an awful experience and not a good use of 3 hours of my time. 2) After the onsite round, they just dropped me with a one sentence email. Excuse me. I put in about 10 or 12 hours of my time to go through the process with you and you can't give me some feedback even though I requested it? That is extremely rude and not how things work in the industry. Also, the recruiter is a 3rd party and didn't send me any prep material. At all. This is one of the few companies where I got less respect for AFTER I have interviewed with them. Rejections happen I get that, but how they handled the whole process was just disrespectful.
