Then the recruiter sent a take home assignment in the form of a python notebook, an html file. The MAP@K score was 0.29, utilizing TF-IDF for search retrieval on the WANDS data. They wanted it to be higher than 0.3. They also want it to be converted into a production ready code. Recommended that one do not spend more than 90mins but given a week to finish. They want to see the code running and its results. The role is open for a long time with the format of the interview, naturally I was advised to not to take them seriously. I submitted my take home assignment with a score much higher than 0.3. Recruiter informed me that they are not moving forward.
