I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Hawaiian Airlines (Honolulu, HI) in Oct 2017
Interview
I only did the first of three interviews on site in Honolulu. I passed the first interview and was invited back for the second, but I declined. I paid $160 for a round trip flight from Maui. The interview took less than an hour, but with transportation it took all day. We were told there were over 2000 applicants for 200 positions. There were about 300 applicants in my group. I did not go back for the second, because I would have had to again pay my own flight, and if selected to continue, pay yet again for yet a third flight. They could easily condense this process down to 2 interviews. I decided not to continue with the process because there was only a 10% chance I would be selected, and I was told that the 7 week training course was in Honolulu and they provided no housing, transportation, food, parking, or stipend.

Interview
the whole process was a 3-step process. The first was a group Zoom interview, with a few questions and timed answer (now with Alaska Air merge, it is a recorded process). Next was an in-person group interview, you measure height and reach, break off in groups, and speak in front of a panel. Finally, individual interview, but I did not get that far.
