Software Engineer - Customer Experience Interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Hawaiian Airlines (Phoenix, AZ) in Jan 2019

      Interview

It was a pretty standard process. I applied online and about a week after a Recruiter reached out for a 30 minute phone screening. After that they set up a video conference interview with a Sr. Software Engineer/Hiring manager. This was 1 hour in length which covered typical technical questions ranging from what OOP principals have I used, questions about my previous roles at other companies, and there was 2 coding problems. After each part of the interview they all said "really good job." I thought I did well and would get an offer. Overall, I thought it was good, however, their favorite line to say is "We will let you know in the next day or two." It was always at least 2 weeks between each interview. The last interview I had to email them a couple of times over 4 weeks for me to get a rejection email with nothing to improve on etc.
