I applied for the position online the day the job was posted. I heard back less than half an hour later that HR had received my application. I received another email around 1-2 hours later saying congratulations on making it through to the first round of interviews and wait for the email to book the time I would like to go in for interviewing. Phase 1: there was around 100 people at my interview time slot and we were all split into 10 groups of 10. After placed in our groups we all did the reach ready. We were asked about visible tattoos and extra piercings. We then were taken to interviewing where there was a panel of 3. We were asked 3 questions (each question was the same for all and only read once so you had to pay attention) and then asked to read an announcement. (Tip for phase 1. Show up at least 45 minutes early so you have time to park your car and walk to the office. When in the group the out you in alphabetical order from your first name and when you are asked the questions, the person who is at the front of the line or who’s name starts with an A, usually has to answer the question first and has a shorter time to think about their answers) Everyone had 1minute to answer each question. Be sure to stick to your time and fully answer the question. You then wait for an email that evening either saying you never made it to the next phase interviews, or you made it to phase 2 and to book your Phase 2 interview time. Phase 2: there was around 50-60 people and we were all split into 3 groups of 15-18. And your all put into alphabetical order. You the. Are in a room with 1 main interviewer and about 6 others who monitor and keep time. We then were given 1scenario, we had to read the scenario to ourselves and then read the scenario aloud, and then given 30seconds to answer. After the scenario we were split into groups of 4 (our crew) where we were given 3 flight scenarios and we had 1 minute to come up with what we thought was the best answer and what order we would proceed to take action with that particular scenario. Your crew would then pick alsomeone in your crewto give your groups answer. Because we were in groups of 4, 1 of your crew members wouldn’t have the chance to speak so then the interviewer went around each crew and asked those that never spoke something related to the scenarios given. Tips for phase 2: give input to your crew scenarios but don’t speak over your other crew members trying to say something. Offer to stand up and give your crews answers. Listen intently to your crew when your trying to figure out the best answer for the scenario given. You will be sent an email that night whether you made the next phase interview or not. Those that did make it and got the congratulation email will have a link to book an appointment time for phase 3 interview which is just you and the 2 interviewers. Phase 3: bring 2 copies of your resume and your letters of recommendation. You are then lead to a room where there is you and two interviewers. They ask for your Resume and letters of recommendation and quickly skim through them. They ask questions relating to becoming a flight attendant. The interview is a 30 minute time slot but mine was done in 15minutes. Each interviewers I heard have all been different as far as questions and time. Mine was 15minutes total and I was asked 2 scenarios and about 4 questions that related to flight attendant and my resume. They also give you time at the end to ask questions. Too for phase 3: BE YOURSELF!!! When they ask if you have questions, ask then a question. You are then told you will receive a phone call whether or not you made the 8 week training program but won’t get the phone call till after all of the interviews are done. We were told there was only interviews from Mon-We’d but when I went to book for my interview they had extended to theirs day and Friday. I was told at the end of my interview that I could expect a phone call either Friday night after the last interview, Monday or Tuesday. After speaking with someone who is a flight attendant, she informed me that everyone who was called Friday night had all made it into the training program. I felt upset because I wasn’t called Friday. I ended up getting called Monday afternoon where I was expecting to be let down, but to my surprise they had opened up another class of 40 and I had made it into the 2nd class. Those called on them Friday I believe got into the first class. Those who were accepted into the programs were given a particular class in order of job application. So if I applied on a June and was given a spot in the training program and someone who applied in September of the same year was given a a spot in the training program, I would get the spot first as they gave the spot according to job application.
