      Onsite Field Support Representative Interview

      May 9, 2017
      Anonymous employee
      Seattle, WA
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at HeadLight (Seattle, WA) in Apr 2017

      Interview

I cannot say enough good things about my interview/hiring process with Pavia Systems. The entire experience was responsive, deliberate and informative. The recruiter is, by far, one of the most professional AND most personable I've ever worked with. I was contacted within 2 days of my resume submission to schedule an initial interview with the recruiter. She was on time, well prepared and provided me insight into both the organization and the job itself. Most important, she always followed up in a timely manner and kept me well advised as to next steps. After the recruiter, I interviewed with the VP of Customer Experience (twice, one by phone and the next time in a video call) and the company President (via video call). During each interview I was given great insight to the company mission and completely understood how the role I was interviewing for supported the organization's goals and growth. I was also offered the opportunity to ask questions. This really allowed me to determine if the job, and the team, would be a great fit for me. As the role is based remote in the Southeast US, I was pleased to have the opportunity to be flown out to Seattle to meet the team in person. Again, the recruiter took care of all the logistics and kept me informed every step of the way. It could not have been easier. Unlike typical panel interviews where you feel you're being grilled or tested, the day I spent with the team felt very organic and highly beneficial to me as a candidate. Lunch with the customer success team gave me a chance to experience the culture of the team and their genuine ease with and support of one another. I got to deep-dive into specifics of my experience with the President and explore how I'd approach the job in order to be successful in the role. The VP I'd report to really took time to walk me through the SaaS platform to include it's evolution and future. I also got to speak with the CTO who was open to answering my questions, sharing his background and role in the company, and giving me insight to the development side of the platform. The on site interview gave me a tremendous opportunity to see how all the pieces fit together and how I could contribute. Throughout the interview process I was able to see how aligned with the team, the personalities and the culture. Hands down, the best interview experience EVER!
