The process was pretty standard for design interviews!
Logistically: I had a skype interview, then a week later I had an in-person which took about a half a day. During the in-person, I met with 6 people (in a 1:1 session) and toured the facilities. The process itself was extremely organized, and they were very accommodating of my difficult work schedule when planning. Everyone was so welcoming, lovely, and made me feel at home right away.
Culturally: The conversations were natural and not so much the 'question and answer' structure, but more engaged discussions around design where we each shared our experiences working in the field. I showed my work, again, it was very comfortable and conversational. It was clear that the product team is incredibly passionate and talented, but this caliber of excellence wasn't lorded over me in a rapid-fire question style of interviewing, or Hunger Games-like design challenges as a way of assessing candidates. Their calm, authentic and thoughtful approach made me feel comfortable immediately, which allowed me to imagine myself working happily with these people every day.
I - of course - accepted the offer, and have been here for a couple of weeks and love it. :) Best of luck you in your interviews!
