      Interview

The interview process was very long but worth it. All the interviewers were very informative and knowledgeable about their positions. I had a phone interview, PowerPoint presentation, manager interview, then HR for the job salary discussion.

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Headspace in Jun 2022

      Interview

I applied for the job back in mid May of 2022. They contacted me for an interview mid June 2022. I’m was super excited. The first interview was a video interview with a recruiter. The recruiter asked me a few questions about my customer service experience. At the end she told me the pay which is pretty high in my option (over $30 an hour). They now operate on 10 hour work days which was fine by me until I saw the terrible hours they were offering. 2nd shift and 3rd shift. I needed a job so I was going to accept whatever. I informed her that I was open for all shifts. I got an email later that day stating that I made it to the 2nd part of the process which consisted of a long case study. It took me 2.5 hours to complete. I submitted it the next day. I was super shocked to make it to the 3rd interview. At this point I KNEW I had the job in the bag. The 3rd interview was a panel with 2 people scheduled for the following week. The panel went amazing! I knew I had the job in the bag. They loved my experience and passion for mental health. They said I would hear back next week, only to find out that 2 days later, I didn’t get the job. I was extremely pissed because I did everything in my power and presented myself in the most professional way I could. I had the experience and I knew I was more than capable of being successful. I send them an email to advocate for myself in hope that they would reconsider me. I had to send the email twice because I’m sure they ignored it the first time. My original recruiter responded and said that she brought the idea up to the recruiting team (even though I’m sure she was just saying that) and they could not reconsider me. Complete BS. It’s their loss honestly. I was super upset because I went above and beyond sending thank you emails after each interview just to have the door closed in my face at the finish line. Maybe it’s because I’m a minority, I’m not sure. They were hiring for 8 people so I felt even more confident. On to the next!
