*Read Before Pursuing A Interview**** I read the last/ most recent review for this job interview and I thought it couldn't be that bad after doing over a dozen interviews a week in my current job hunt. The mock call going over a product that has nothing to do with Headway or its mission was a bit odd. But nonetheless, I did a great job and the only feedback I was given was " could have asked 1 more question during the call to discover a bit more" I received excellent feedback otherwise. Overall simple interview questions. If you can carry a conversation the mock call is very simple. However, the person interviewing me was brand new to the company and could not answer a single question I asked about the company or role. Seemed as if this person was not qualified at all to even be in this position or had no experience to be in charge of who is being hired or not. by the end of the interview, I had built a better connection with the other person from headway who was on the interview taking notes than the person actually interviewing me. By the end of it, I could tell that the person running the interview was Not qualifying candidates based on their Skills, experience, passion, or dedication to the mission or even Best fit for Headway, it was more of her Judging people and choosing people that fit her persona. Never have I felt more judged in my life than I did by the end of this interview for a mental health org. Very sad to see a company like Headway leave and have someone with little or no zero knowledge of the organization itself let alone how to qualify candidates for their org. I hope the company sees these last two comments and addresses the issue and lets a person who has real experience, and real dedication, and passion for the growth of this company run the final interview process. I am a very seasoned interviewer and Completely understand when I don't make the cut. But knowing I was being judged by my looks or whatever it may be is disgusting. Unless the get someone else running the interviews please save yourself the days and hours of research and prep for another company that takes everything into consideration. Probably a great company to work for. but Trust me do not waste your time with this. ps. The initial interviewer/ recruiter was great and deserves a raise.
