Phone interview with recruiter, practical interview with a member of the sales team, behavioral interview with sales leadership, and a final quick chat with the head of sales. Followed by a reference check. I was a bit scared by the posts but I found the interview process to be very engaging and challenging in a good way. Some comments mentioned the behavioral interview being particularly aggressive and intrusive, but they were all pretty standard interview questions to get a better feel for your work experience and problem solving methods. The practical interview involved me role playing a warm call with an inbound lead interested in using their property as an Airbnb. It was basically a test of active listening, controlling a sales call, and closing a deal. I found it to be fairly straightforward and, if I’m being honest, a pretty fun experience. If you’ve been in the professional world for a while and gone through interviews, this one is definitely a bit different than most, but i wouldn’t shy away from the challenge before seeing it through.
