Long interview process with some very questionable practices. I had 3 interviews total over 2 weeks.
1st Interview is with the HR rep who does not know anything about Amazon and reads off a script.
2nd interview was with the hiring manager who asks general Amazon knowledge questions.
3rd I was asked to audit a Amazon account and make a PowerPoint presentation.
This is were the questionable practices come into play.
They want you to analyze and give improvements to this seller account which is one of there clients. This is a big no no and I should have listened to the other interview reviews on this page. So I spent some time doing this so called " Challenge" for them and presented to 3 of the team members. They seemed pretty impressed and went so well over all one of the members asked me to send him the PowerPoint.
3 days later i got a messaged saying they are moving forward with other candidates which isn't a problem but I felt scammed and used. They got me to provide valuable insight to their clients brand and a plan on how they should improve this sellers account/brand for free.
So after 2 weeks i wasted hours of my time and gave them valuable information for free.
From the other interviews it seems this is a common trait with this company and they like to use interview to get free insight.
DO NOT INTERVIEW WITH THIS COMPANY IT'S A WASTE.
