The whole process took about 8 weeks- this included two presentations and a final interview.
I managed to get through to the last stage and I thought the recruiters in the initial interviews were lovely.
In the final stage, I was interviewed by a more senior manager (very last minute- the online interview was communicated to me the day before after over 2 weeks of no response), who unfortunately wasn't so pleasant and told me 'I didn't know how you got this far with such poor A-level results- we are looking more for higher grades such as A's in a more scientific background'.
My A levels were C's and I achieved a 1st class degree in International Business, therefore applying for a marketing scheme I did not believe that the scientific A levels were relevant.. I have also worked extra hard to achieve a first class degree and took a placement year too to gain experience, which I felt that was completely disregarded.
This made me absolutely not want to work for the company after such a poor interview at the last stage, I found that it was exremely disorganised letting me get this far if the company believed that I wasn't good enough in the first place.
The reason why I haven't rated my experience as poor is because I have learnt so much through the first two initial interviews where I conducted market research which I was able to present to the recruiters, and I thought that they were fantastic!
