      Lead Product Designer Interview

      Apr 10, 2023
      Anonymous Interview Candidate
      New York, NY
      Declined offer
      Positive experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Hex (New York, NY) in Jan 2023

      Interview

I was impressed with every step of the interview process, from early informational conversations to team- and role-specific conversations, to the design exercises. Every interaction felt intentional. It's clear that their team puts considered effort into finding the right people to hire. Having interviewed with tech companies before, never before has the interview process itself made me *more* interested and confident in joining a company. In the end, I decided to stay at my current company to work to overcome the challenges I've encountered. However, were I to consider leaving again, Hex would be at the top of my list.

      Interview questions [1]
