I was genuinely surprised by the poor interview experience I had with HiBob, especially given their platform's capability to automate communication with candidates. My initial interactions with the recruiter and then a hiring manager left a positive impression, but that quickly changed when I had to wait nearly two weeks—despite being promised an update on my application within a few days. It took three follow-ups on my part before they finally responded, and even then, it was through an automated message informing me that I didn’t get the job. Having reached the final stage, I invested a lot of time learning about the company, preparing for interviews, and completing a role play. I requested a final feedback, which I believe every candidate deserves, particularly after reaching the last round. However, given that my previous messages asking for an update went unanswered, I don’t expect to hear back. Nothing against the company as a whole, but I’m sharing this feedback because I believe it’s important. I hope HiBob takes it into account for future candidates—whether they get the job or not, timely updates and feedback are essential, especially (and ironically) if it’s one of the selling points of your product.
