I had a phone interview that lasted about 45 minutes, which led to a personal interview a few days later. I probably was on-site for about 3 hours. The personal interview was scripted and somewhat awkward in that it seemed impolite for me to keep talking while they took notes. I felt I answered the questions well but they couldn't really answer my questions at all, especially about what the expectations would be for a successful candidate in the first six months after being hired. (That question was not answered for the phone interview or during the personal interview.)
After the interview, the recruiter had difficulty getting a response on the hiring decision. Her phone calls were not returned until about 2 weeks after the personal interview. I was not hired and nothing was stated as to where I lacked as a candidate. Reimburseent for the expenses I incurred for the interview never came. Because my brother passed away with cancer and I had been taking care of him for two months, the non-reimbursement slipped my mind for an additional month following the on-site interview. But even after the recruiter reportedly contacted them twice, and they assured her that they sent a check the next week, no check ever came. It still hasn't arrived, and it's been 7 months since I originally submitted the receipts, and 2 months since they said they sent the check.
