After applying to the position online the studio recruiter reached out to me for a preliminary phone call to go over my experience and skill set. After that I had a phone interview set up with three senior members of the company related to the position. The phone interview went well, so I was then asked to do an animation test, I was given 2 weeks. They liked the test so I was asked to come in and have an in-person interview. I met with the recruiter and HR, was given a tour of the studio and had several interviews with multiple groups including the animation leads, rest of the animation team, technical artists, studio directors and even the studio head. While it was a little intimidating at first, ultimately I thought it was great to meet almost everyone I would be needing to interact with on a day to day basis, especially over multiple levels. The day at the studio took about 4 hours on a Friday. I received an offer the following week.
From beginning contact to receiving an offer took about 4 weeks.
