I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Higher Logic (Washington, DC) in Jul 2018
Interview
The recruiter got back to me more than a month after the initial application. During the in person interview, I was asked several questions that have nothing to do with actual feature development and software engineering. The CTO was at times condescending and jumping all over the place with his questions. It was a truly bizarre experience. My mind was all over the place trying to come up with solid explanations. There wasn't any room to think through a properly posed question about what projects I had worked on and what challenges I faced and how I solved such problems. The process started to seem all about finding a weak spot or a gotcha to eliminate my candidacy. There is a tendency among some technical people to assume that thinking or talking fast will result in great code or the most robust software. There is zero evidence to back this up.

Question 1
Genreral questions about React.
ex :How to optimize a large list rendering with React
Got contacted by a recruiter on LinkedIn. When the time came for the interview never called and never responded to emails saying that they set up their calendar with the wrong number attached. Waited a few days the same recruiter contacted again without owning up to their mistake, they ask to set up another time. Time comes again for the interview and never calls. It was a waste of time not worth the effort.
