Short and sweet. Go through 4 different managers; Human Resources, Direct Supervisor, Direct Manager, General Manager. As long as you are naturally a friendly person, as most people in customer service are, you wont have a problem.

Applied online, got a phone call asking to come to the hotel for an interview a few days afterwards. Had an interview with the Front Desk Manager in the lobby of the Hotel. After the interview he asked me to come back for a "working interview"- basically working with the current Front Desk supervisor to see how I would deal with the job and if I liked it.
