It started out with a recruiter call to discuss the role expectations and go over both what I was looking for and what the company was looking for. After that I took a language agnostic take home assessment (90 minutes). It had four parts that built on each other as you completed each section. Next there was a 1 hour call with a hiring manager. That was followed by a back to back 1 hour API Design interview and 1 hour System Design Interview. These were fairly standard to what you'd expect of this type of interview and focused on real Hinge examples. Lastly there was an hour long culture interview that was mostly workplace experience questions (what would you do if xyz happened? tell me about a time you had to deal with xyz situation and what did you learn? etc). The interviewers and recruiter were all friendly and happy to answer all of my questions.
