Full disclosure: this role has been reposted repeatedly for 6+ months, and HOAG has yet to fill it, even though they have been continuously interviewing.
A recruiter approached at the end of 2024me and was directly enrolled in their interview process.
Each HOAG interviewer was late to each round by a minimum of 10 minutes each time. At the end of each interview, there was not enough time for questions from the job seekers' side since the interviewers were consistently late.
While each HOAG interviewer expressed that they were impressed by my specialized background during each round, the interview process was terminated after I interviewed with the Chief Digital Officer due to "New job requirements". The HOAG Digital team did not clarify what changed, and the recruiter was thoroughly confused as the rest of the team expressed their support of my candidacy. Seeing as they have been looking for this position for 6+ months and have yet to fill it, I'm not surprised they declined to comment on why they decided to terminate the process.
I would caution job seekers not to count on landing a position on the HOAG Digital team even if they are well-qualified for this niche position as they have yet to decide on a hire after 6+ months of interviewing. Their blatant disrespect of the candidate's time throughout the process and showing up late for every interview clearly shows the culture of that team and their lack of professionalism.
The HOAG Digital team and leadership also insist on on-site work only and stated in the first interview that "if candidates care about this job, they will get here every day in person."
Good luck to anyone who wants to work in this division at HOAG; it is hypocritical of an organization focused on virtual health offerings for patients who are inflexible for their workforce to work remotely/hybrid.
I wonder how much time they've collectively wasted with 6+ months of useless interviewing with multiple job seekers. I've since moved on to organizations that are more motivated to hire talent and show baseline respect for candidates' time; best of luck to the team members at HOAG Digital I interviewed with - I'm sure they are all still struggling under the burden of continuous interviewing and lack of progress.
