I applied in-person. I interviewed at Hobby Lobby (Racine, WI) in Oct 2013
Interview
Filled out an application in store. Talked to the store manager when I turned in the application. He invited for an interview the next day. Was a normal retail job interview. Talked my customer service experience and general crafting knowledge. After the interview I had to complete a math test, testing my knowledge of percentages and basic addition and subtraction. Two days later the store manager called me and offered me a job.
I applied online. I interviewed at Hobby Lobby (Pensacola, FL)
Interview
Extremely easy. Was during seasonal so management let pretty much anybody in. Had to take a quick test, which was easy enough. The woman who interviewed me was very personable during the process.
It was very smooth process. They asked me 4 or 5 questions and then let me ask questions. They gave me a tour of the store and introduced me to the other people working there.
The interview process was swift and easygoing. The managers had great personalities and were easy to communicate with. They made you feel at home before you even started the interview.
