I applied in-person. I interviewed at Hobby Lobby (Lafayette, IN) in May 2015
Interview
Sit down with store or co-manager. They ask you typical interview questions that showcase why you'd be a great customer service associate. They typically let you know what all the job entails. I had to take a math test but it's not difficult (adding, subtracting, multiplying, decimals, and percentages). I believe this is still standard for all new hires.

I applied online. I interviewed at Hobby Lobby (Pensacola, FL)
Interview
Extremely easy. Was during seasonal so management let pretty much anybody in. Had to take a quick test, which was easy enough. The woman who interviewed me was very personable during the process.
It was very smooth process. They asked me 4 or 5 questions and then let me ask questions. They gave me a tour of the store and introduced me to the other people working there.
The interview process was swift and easygoing. The managers had great personalities and were easy to communicate with. They made you feel at home before you even started the interview.
