I applied in-person. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Hobby Lobby (McAllen, TX)
Interview
The interview was quick, easy and simple. I was sat down at a desk, given a questionnaire to answer and then a simple "math test" that I could complete with a calculator - to see if I could do simple math. Then the manager at the time simply asked me why I wanted to work there, what type of experience I had (none, I had no experience handling money), and what I could contribute to the company. I didn't really feel like an interview - it was pretty surreal.
I applied online. I interviewed at Hobby Lobby (Pensacola, FL)
Interview
Extremely easy. Was during seasonal so management let pretty much anybody in. Had to take a quick test, which was easy enough. The woman who interviewed me was very personable during the process.
It was very smooth process. They asked me 4 or 5 questions and then let me ask questions. They gave me a tour of the store and introduced me to the other people working there.
The interview process was swift and easygoing. The managers had great personalities and were easy to communicate with. They made you feel at home before you even started the interview.
