I applied in-person. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Hobby Lobby (Pekin, IL) in Jul 2012
Interview
For the interview, you are asked a bunch of questions and then administered a math test. They basically show you exactly how to do the problems and even do a sample one for you. They then leave you alone for the majority of the math test and I used my phone calculator (which I don't really think is allowed but it helped me anyway).
I applied online. I interviewed at Hobby Lobby (Pensacola, FL)
Interview
Extremely easy. Was during seasonal so management let pretty much anybody in. Had to take a quick test, which was easy enough. The woman who interviewed me was very personable during the process.
It was very smooth process. They asked me 4 or 5 questions and then let me ask questions. They gave me a tour of the store and introduced me to the other people working there.
The interview process was swift and easygoing. The managers had great personalities and were easy to communicate with. They made you feel at home before you even started the interview.
