There was an intense interview process with multiple steps but overall it was a great experience. I ended up declining the job offer but I enjoyed my conversations with everyone. I got to meet with a store manager as well as the recruiter and they were extremely welcoming, answered all my questions and we talked about life as well. They made me feel extremely welcome and if I had the opportunity to work for them now I would because of that experience. I declined due to moving.

Question 1
What are your goals and aspirations for the future?
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Hobby Lobby (Fort Worth, TX) in May 2026
Interview
Phone interview with recruiter. First step. Explains in detail the description of job and requirements as well as next steps and 10 questions. After you are asked for 6 references including 4 direct reports. This can be a bit hard if you are currently employed but dont want to involve your place of work just yet..so be prepared for this.

Question 1
If ever been let go or terminated from a job.
What is your strongest attribute..
Horrible. Very quick interview scheduled and professional interview but it’s unrealistic to expect 7-10 references that are professional only. Most companies don’t even allow employees to give references so to make that a minimum to move in in today’s world is ridiculous.
The recuiter met me at the door and showed me around the store explaining expectations right off th bat. He then took me to the office and asked me standard interview questions for a leadership position.
