The recruiter contact and screening were wonderful. She was very pleasant, thorough with questions and excited about the company which made me excited. I was moved to the Hiring Manager, the first round, and it was conversational and open, with questions about my background and how I could add value. I was asked to move forward to a second interview with the Hiring Manager, where it got a bit frustrating. The recruiter scheduled the interview (virtual) and the Hiring Manager did not show up, I waited on the Teams call for 30 minutes. The interview was rescheduled, but the second interview was a lot of rapid-fire questions to the point where you feel like you are being attacked. I was given an unclear case study which attributed to running out of time during the first interview. When it came time to present my thoughts on the case study, I was told I did not approach it correctly. I followed up with a Thank you email and contacted the recruiter to understand the next steps. I waited for 2 weeks until I received the rejection email. There was a lack of communication by the recruiter on the next steps and kept me waiting until the rejection. What seemed like a great company and great people to work with, was not transparent when waiting for a response.

I saw this job on Glassdoor, so I went to go apply and then suddenly there was nothing. Then I checked my email and found an email from this company asking me if I want to continue to apply. So I clicked the link and was taken to the company site and they parsed my resume and I completed all the details but then they didn't have a 'Submit' button anywhere so I actually couldn't apply.
