My experience interviewing with Homebase was genuinely positive. I was actually the first candidate to interview for the role, and from the very first conversation, the team was thoughtful, prepared, and respectful of my time. Every person I met was smart, grounded, and clearly cares about building something meaningful.
I didn’t perform as well as I hoped on the analytic portion of the process, but even so, the experience left me with a strong impression of the company. I walked away feeling that whoever steps into that role is going to be lucky, the culture is strong, the expectations are clear, and the team is invested in doing things the right way.
I know there are some negative reviews floating around on Glassdoor and Reddit. A gentleman even reached out to me directly asking if I had interviewed and encouraged me to post something negative. That wasn’t my experience at all. My interviewers were professional, transparent, and genuinely kind.
Homebase struck me as a place with high standards, good people, and a mission worth supporting. I appreciated the opportunity to meet the team and would welcome the chance to engage with them again in the future.
