I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Honeywell (Phoenix, AZ) in Jan 2020
Interview
I applied through LinkedIn and received a call from the Honeywell recruiter the next day. We briefly went over my experience and why I was looking for new employment. She spoke with the hiring manager and set up an onsite interview for me. The onsite interview was a panel discussion with the hiring manager, another director-level employee, and the HR rep for their department. They asked me to walk them through my resume and then each of them had a few questions for me to answer. It wasn't an intimidating situation as some panels tend to be. Each of them were engaged to learn about me and whether I would fit the mold for the position. I received a call from the hiring manager a week later with a job offer
I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Honeywell (Golden Valley, MN) in Aug 2014
Interview
Situational Questioning. Spoke about past experience, past wins in previous roles in past organizations and how I would apply these to current scenarios moving forward. Don’t expect the interview process to take too long. If you’re going to be hired you’ll know rather quickly if you’re going to be chosen for the role.
