Interview
Received an email and phone call from the HR rep/recruiter about 2weeks after applying and spent about 15min going through some screener questions before setting up a date to talk to the hiring manager. I spent 30min on the phone with the manager who asked some pretty basic questions on my background, experience, why I was interested, etc - basically I was trying to sell myself for an in person interview. At the end of the call I was told that I should hear back within 2 weeks. 4-6 weeks go by before I contact the HR rep and ask for status. No response, so I try again a week later. I finally am told they are still evaluating and that I should get an answer soon. 4 weeks go by and no answer so I reach out to the HR rep again. Same response - they are still evaluating. A couple of weeks later the job listing is pulled and resposted, slightly changed and my application is carried over with it. I ask the HR rep what's going on, hopeful because it seems to align more closely with my background, but get no response. Another couple of weeks go by before the job is closed out and I'm officially notified with a canned email.
