I have noticed that as a minority, during the interview process, you are not treated fairly. I was asked during the interview " you aren't going to want to advance once you get the job, are you?" I find this to be rather interesting. It is like you are being discouraged before you even get the job, and that you are chosen depending on your reply; yes, no job, no, no ambition, you may get the job. The company appears to be a bit racist towards minorities. I had applied for a supervisor prior, and was way overqualified for this job as well, and was treated like veritable crap during the interview process. In a nutshell, don't waste your time interviewing here if you are the wrong color.
