I applied in Poland.
After several weeks I received a letter that recruiters will remove me from the list because I never responded. I wrote back that there is a mistake and I haven’t received a letter before.
Yes, it’s a mistake, they responded and we booked a phone call. On that day recruiter asked to postpone the call.
When she finally called she asked if I previously have worked in Polish squads and said that I’m not a fitting the position. In the description of the vacancy there was only the requirement for a fluent Polish and she didn’t even speak with me to check my level.
Lately another recruiter reached to me with the opportunity. I told about the situation and added that I’m very interested in the position. After 2 weeks I received a reply. They answered that it looks like the local team decided that I can’t be a good fit because the lack of experience working in local squads.
Unfortunately, from my side it loo like discrimination by the nationality. And this is the USA INTERNATIONAL company.
