I made it far into the process and the total number of rounds would've been 5 which I feel is excessive for a company like this and the experience level of the role. It could definitely be condensed. Process is: - call with recruiter - 30 minute call with head of product even though it said 45 minutes on the invite - 90 minute interview with designer and PM to show work - 45 minute call with PM and engineer - exec call The most frustrating part was lack of clarity about the role. I was initially told of a team I could join, then in the second round I'm told that it was filled so we had to use time to learn about the others. It was just a bit strange how they couldn't be clear about the 3rd round being a take home assignment or a case study review. They made it sound like if you didn't have work to show, then they'd give you a challenge to complete? Of course anyone with some experience would have work to show. The people I spoke to being nice would be the best part of the experience. Overall, excessive with the required 5 rounds and lack of organization and clarity
