Interview
Phone screen, Skype interview, 2 HOUR ROLE PLAY AND ANOTHER INTERVIEW WITH THE SAME QUESTIONS! I have several years of successful sales experience and I rocked that role play and interview. I did notice that most of the office was young women, so I guess I didn't get the offer because I don't fit their profile...TOO OLD! They made it sound like it's an extremely competitive candidate pool, which I find hard to believe because the base salary is LOW. Very low for an experienced, skilled sales rep. I think they want young inexperienced people that they can mold into their sorority.
Great company to work for. They have a stringent hiring process. You will have multiple interviews followed by a presentation at the end. All in all they want to see if you understand their platform and user mentality. Big props if you show your personality or if you have a positive attitude it will go a long way. It was definitely gruelling but totally fair as the job itself is quit full on.

Why Houzz? Why sales? You don't seem like a salesperson.. (I don't). Very blunt but direct.
Houzz places a large emphasis on role playing in the interview process, both for external and internal roles. It's daunting in the moment but is actually good practice and gives interviewers a good sense of how you think on your feet
