This was a four part interview which consisted of two long Zoom meeting interviews with an inside recruiter and finalized with a Sales Manager and HR person. I felt the recruiter was very interested in me, or else, he wouldn't have spent so much time getting to know me. At the final interview I first met a young female Sales Manager. She was impressed with me and acted quite cordially. However, the interview was abruptly intervened by an older woman who barely said a word. I'm guessing that this woman had other plans. The interview process consists of Role play, which I think is strange considering you know nothing about the Value ads or services. One must be skeptical about a company that doesn't come forth and tell you what they offer to clients. It seems very vague the way they present it and lacking in detail and value. I did very well in spite of this and answered everything professionally and gracefully, off the cuff. As I was almost certain they would give me an offer based on my performance, I was shocked to get a rejection email two days later. I'm assuming Houzz is a very political work environment where turnover is high.

The interviewer was candid, friendly, and very helpful! Unlike many other interviews, this one was light but still relevant and direct in how the interviewer communicated. I appreciated their candor in explaining opportunities for upwards mobility and salary.
