4 stage interview process, awful interview! the lady that did my Skype interview was so unprofessional to say the least, didn't even show up for the first interview and then when it came to my second interview she kept asking about my previous history in sales? Mind you, the job spec did say "no sales experience required". She was a French speaker and didn't really understand English properly so there definitely was a communication barrier between us! Lastly, not to disrespect but for someone who is conducting interviews in English with a very poor level of English is concerning and when she didn't quite understand my responses to the question she would act quite rude and cocky? So to summarise, waste of time, unprofessional and a communication barrier.

It was ok. They were a bit stuck up. They make you do a mock phone call and show around their modern offices and stuff. It was ok. It seems like their is a sorority like culture there.

HR screening call, with background and achievement oriented questions. I was notified during that call that I would be moving to the next step with a hiring manager. I was sent directions for a role play for the next interview, including the consultative sales style implemented (Sandler). The HR person will prep you for the role play via an additional phone call, if desired. It is necessary to study up on pricing and services that Houzz offers or the role play will be more challenging than necessary. And if one is not familiar with Sandler, then familiarize yourself with that too. The hiring manager asked many situational questions, then proceeded to the role play. We had 2 scenarios, one where a gatekeeper answered the call and the other where the decision maker answered. If possible, you were instructed to present services and make the sale. As promised, I was notified of my status within 24 hours of final interview, with an offer letter following within a few hours after that.
